Hey Paula!

I can't remeber who WJD is but I need to get my yearbboks out and then maybe I'll remember! 45? jeez... 47 now.

Sorry I lost touch with you also we should catch up. I'm in Dallas now for the last 27 years. By far the longest I have ever lived in one place.

Hey Marianne,

So good to hear from you. I went back to the old web site and saw your post there too. I am in a small town outside of Myrtle Beach SC. Moved to Georgia from Iran and went to California when I turned 18...still have the travel bug. Moved here 9 years ago but spent the as an RN I have taken travel assignments to Georgia to be near my parents. I now work for the department of defense from behind a desk......no more traveling for now. My email is samandsandy22@yahoo.com. I would love to catch up with you. Went to Dallas a couple years ago for a conference. Going to New Orleans this June for another conference (okay I travel a little but not enough to satisy me)

Hi Paula,

I do remember you and your brother. I am sorry for the loss. I think I remember that David had some problems with his leg, or I thought that he had a cast on it a lot of the time. He was always very nice.

Debbie

WJD was the chubby 9th grader who liked you.  He was on the yearbook committee and played the french horn in the jazz band.  You danced with him (me) when Watermelon Jam played at the Teen Club.  I played bumper pool with your brother a lot.  My name is Wayne Davis, and my brothers name is Glynn.  He married Christy Haynes after high school.  Her sister is Mimi Haynes.

I was only in Iran for about 14 months, but I have great memories of the place.  I remember the 1976 July 4th celebration, taking pictures at the football games, drinking rum at the pizza places, and those awful buses that carted us off to school each day.  I also remember that you were too smart to go to the baseball dugout with me.

I looked in the only year book I have (76) and your name is listed but not your picture. Your post was sooo funny. I remember the doing those things but am horrible to this day remembering people.  Yeah I have great memories of that time too.  I moved from Teheran to a little town in Georgia. Talk about culture shock.  I moved to Myrtle Beach about 10 years ago to work.  I wish you would find a picture of yourself at that age and email it to me.  Take care.....It was fun remembering how independent we were.  My youngest is older that I was there and I can't imagine him hitching a ride in those taxis to go across town to a friends to visit.  Or take a walk on Saltantabod (?) to get to the teen club.
