A friend from work introduced me to lunch at a notable Persian restaurant in Houston. It's called Bijan Persian Grille and serves lots of the kebabs - I ordered chello with rice and nan. It was very good and authentic. It's nothing fancy which makes it even more authentic and the walls have 1970's era posters of Tehran, Dizin, Ab Ali, the Caspian Sea shore, Persepolis, etc. Check it out if you're in Houston.
