2. 2010 reunion.
For our August 5-8, 2010 reunion at the Hyatt Regency Reston, in Reston, VA, a suburb of the DC area, we now have 51 registered and 172 interested. That list is below.
*Some quickie cost-saving tips:
-Plan to share a hotel room with someone. Over a three night period that's a savings of $200!
-Live in the area? Wonderful! You don't have to stay at the hotel or pay transportation costs!
-Use the hotel shuttle to/from Dulles Airport. Saves you the cost of a taxi or a rental car.
-Register (if you haven't already) before June 1, 2010. Costs increase after June 1.
-When you select the comprehensive package you DON'T have to pay for the individual meals costs shown on the pro-rated side. These are already included.
*We will be offering tours to include: "Monuments By Moonlight," "Spy Tour of Washington," "Visit to Mount Vernon" and a golf outing. Details soon!
*We got entertainment too! DJ Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights and a jam session
and a concert by Kubasaki alum Emmerson Edwards and his band.

Thursday night Iranian dinner, August 5, 2010
We are having a TAS dinner on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 6 p.m. the Hyatt Regency Reston. An Iranian dinner is on the menu. Cost is $35 per person before June 1, 2010, and $40 per person after that date. Great way to begin your reunion! TASA is underwriting part of the cost of this meal.

-If you have already paid with a credit card for the reunion registration, just send an email authorizing payment for yourself or your guest(s).

The second is a TAS BBQ at the home of Julie Secord Williams'81, 12305 Delevan Drive, Herndon, VA, on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.!
*Transportation to and from the hotel will be provided. Julie lives just two miles from the hotel.
*Live entertainment provided by Rennie Kaufmann'78 & family.
*Please bring a swimsuit and towel and enjoy a fun & relaxing afternoon around the pool!
Since this BBQ is not associated with OVERSEAS BRATS Homecoming 2010, it is NOT being subsidized in any way. Therefore, in order to purchase food, drink, and provide transportation, we are asking that people send Julie a check if they plan to attend. Advance price is $10/per person or $15/per person the day of the BBQ. Families are welcome for a price of $25 in advance (3 or more people) or $35 at the door.
