- Email list = 1,077.
- Regular mailing list = 1,140.
- Current members of TASA = 119 .
- This includes 46 standard, 46 booster and 27 patron members.
(Check with Joe on your status.)
Gee Joe, why the decline on the regular mailing list? In the January update you showed 1,163 and now it is down to 1,140! This is because in February the annual flyer was sent out to the full mailing list, something done every year. We had that many flyers returned to us by the post office with the notation: No forwarding address.

6. 2009 TASA Directories and 2009 TASA newsletters.
For those who have not joined or renewed with TASA, there is still a limited number of printed 2009 TASA Directories and 2009 TASA newsletters still available. To receive the 2009 TASA Directory, youʼll have to join the Booster ($25/year or $45/two years) or Patron ($40/year or $75/two years) categories.
To join or renew go to:
http://www.TASAssociation.com
Click on TASA Association.
Click on join TASA.
Download and send in the form. The directories and newsletters are available in printed format only.
7. 2010 reunion news.
It seems that the choice for the 2010 reunion is now down to two choices: San Diego or the Washington, DC, area, with an edge going to the DC area. Quite a few people have shared they will go ʽanywhere.ʼ And as shared in previous updates: not everyone will be happy with the site selected. Already a few have expressed they didnʼt like the selections of Atlanta, San Diego or Washington, DC.
Besides the ʽvotesʼ we need to determine which area will be more affordable, accessible, and the least amount of work on us and the least stress on the TASA treasury. (Many full-service hotels require sizeable deposits or include penalties in their contracts if we donʼt meet the minimums on hotel rooms booked or guarantees for meal functions.) Some popular destinations (like San Diego and Las Vegas) offer great rates IF we come in months like January, February, or March etc., but these are not ideal reunion months for us.
Look for more updates. A decision will be announced on or about June 1, 2009.
